Abstract

Following the criteria established in the evaluation tools of multimedia resources for learning developed by authors such as Dudeney (2002), Fernández and Juan (2012), and Marquès (1999), we analyzed a web page for the learning of Spanish entitled Practica Español, focusing on its objectives, design, contents, materials and tools, usefulness, and capacity to motivate students.

Author Biography

Mirjana Filđokić, Universidad de Barcelona

Mirjana Filđokić is a Spanish teacher from Serbia. After obtaining her degree in Hispanic studies at the Faculty of Philology in Belgrade, she worked for two years as a Spanish teacher in a high school in Serbia. In July 2013 she obtained the European Master’s degree in Spanish teaching in international contexts, being awarded the Erasmus Mundus scholarship for this program. She studied at four European universities in Belgrade, Bilbao, Barcelona, and Groningen, and taught Spanish at the Faculty of Arts in Groningen for one semester in 2012/13. She currently teaches Spanish at the International School of Belgrade. Her main fields of research are oral skills in Spanish learning, ICTs in second language learning and teaching as well as affective elements in a language classroom. Besides the language teaching, she creates learning materials and courses. She speaks four languages and teaches Spanish and English as second languages. She is planning to start her own language school and to do her PhD in applied linguistics.
