Author Biographies

Judith Ainsworth, McGill University in Montreal, Canada

Judith Ainsworth (PhD) is a Course Lecturer of Management and Professional Communication at McGill University in Montreal, Canada and Visiting Faculty in the Humanities and Social Sciences Department at Ashesi University (Ghana) and the Beijing Foreign Studies University (China). She served as President of the Association for Business Communication (2023-2024) and is currently serving as Immediate Past President (2025-2026) and President of the ABC Business Communication Research Foundation (2025-2026).

Virginia Pulcini, Università di Torino

Virginia Pulcini is Full Professor of English Language and Linguistics at the University of Torino, Italy (Department of Foreign Languages, Literatures and Modern Cultures). She has published works in several fields of English linguistics, English language teaching, lexicology, lexicography and contact linguistics. She has recently published the monograph The Influence of English on Italian. Lexical and Cultural Features (2023, De Gruyter).
