Laura Pinnavaia, Università degli studi di Milano

Laura Pinnavaia (PhD) es Profesora Titular de Lengua y Lingüística Inglesas en la Universidad de Milán (Italia). Sus intereses de investigación en lexicología y lexicografía han dado lugar a la publicación de más de cuarenta artículos, dos monografías coeditadas: Insights into English and Germanic lexicology and lexicography: past and present perspectives (Polimetrica 2010); Esempi di Seconda Mano. Studi sulla citazione in contesto europeo ed extraeuropeo (Di/Segni 2019); y cuatro monografías de autor: The Italian Borrowings in the OED: A Lexicographic, Linguistic and Cultural Analysis (Bulzoni 2001), Introduzione alla Linguistica Inglese (Carocci 2015). Food and Drink Idioms in English: “A Little Bit More Sugar and Lots of Spice” (Cambridge Scholars Publishing 2018), An Introduction to Sociolinguistics: a glance at the English-speaking social and cultural worlds (Carocci 2023). Actualmente trabaja en la historia de la enseñanza de la escritura para hablantes nativos de inglés.

Annalisa Zanola (PhD) es catedrática de Lengua y Lingüística Inglesas y Director del Centro Linguistico di Ateneo de la Universidad de Brescia (Italia). Sus intereses de investigación abarcan desde la lingüística aplicada y la fonética (Public Speaking and Workplace Skills, GRIN Verlag 2015) hasta la pragmática de la comunicación profesional (Global English in International Business, Bright Pen 2012). Su principal interés se centra en el estudio de la competencia oral en inglés, lo que le ha llevado a publicar un número de revista especial titulado Oral Communication in English (Textus XXXV, 2022). Sus investigaciones más recientes han dado lugar a la publicación de un volumen sobre el inglés con fines científicos y profesionales (Carocci 2023), centrado en el lenguaje y la comunicación con fines profesionales y en las últimas tendencias en oratoria y escritura académica.
