Abstract

This review adopts an analytical and evaluative perspective to present The Routledge Handbook of Multiliteracies for Spanish Language Teaching as a key reference in Spanish L2 pedagogy. It highlights the book’s aim to reconfigure traditional teaching frameworks through the lens of multiliteracies and multimodality, stressing the balance between theoretical foundations, curricular design, and pedagogical practice across the volume’s four sections. Overall, the review offers a largely positive assessment, presenting the handbook as an important contribution for researchers and language educators.
