Abstract

This review focuses on the volume, Translanguaging in Higher Education, which offers a global perspective showing different translingual practices in a variety of geographic spaces through the eyes of different authors. The book  goes beyond language teaching, substantially contributing to the emerging field of translanguaging as educational practice.

Author Biography

Paola Guerrero-Rodriguez, University of Florida

Paola Guerrero-Rodriguez is a doctoral student at the University of Florida in the Department of Spanish and Portuguese Studies, where she studies Hispanic Linguistics. She earned her MA in Romance  Languages from Texas Tech University in 2017. Her research interests include heritage languages, language pedagogy, dialectology and language as a social practice.
