Abstract

Linguistic and cultural mediation have been a topic of interest since the Common European Framework for Languages recognized them as technical skills involved in language learning. In this review, I summarize the theoretical foundation and methodology that Trovato uses in his book. I also highlight the suggestions that the author proposes for putting competence in mediation into practice in (Spanish) foreign language classes
